Chathurika has over 7 years of physiotherapy experience working in hospitals, aged care, private practice as well as treating Geriatric population.

 

She has experience in treating a wide range of conditions: chronic musculoskeletal conditions, acute sports injuries (neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee, ankle, foot), post orthopedic surgery (e.g., total hip and knee replacement), as well as neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, heart surgeries, COPD etc.)

She utilizes dry needling, Manual therapy, soft tissue massage, taping as well as exercise prescription to help achieve her patient’s goals. She has completed GLA:D (Globally recognized exercise and education program for hip and knee arthritis) certified and trained.
